Are stainless firearms better than blued or parkerized?

Are stainless rifles really that much better than other finishes? I own firearms that have parkerized, blued and stainless finishes...... When done shooting I have always cleaned and oiled my firearms. In the 25 years I have been in the shooting sports I have had no problems with rusting or any other finish problems besides a little wear. Are any of these finishes more superior than the others? I see a lot of hype in the gun publications about stainless rifles but personaly dont see the big diff. I do not live or shoot near saltwater, just the usual upstate NY rain.... Opinions??

alright so i have been on loestrin 24 for about a little over a month and a half. the first month i had some dizzyness bloating, and i had about 3 weeks after i started it. and about 3 more times since. then we checked the condom each time nothing happened, he also pulled out before anything happened. about 5 days ago i started bleeding just a little, it was dark and i had some cramping. today i started getting really bad cramps and im still bleeding, im not sure if it is implantion bleeding, breakthrough bleeding, or period, i start my brown pill in a week, not sure if i have to have my period on the brown pills or not.

It sounds like your husband is choosing the path of least resistance, which is I am finding out myself is a male thing. :) You can try talking to him about it, and explaining to him that he is not helping, but making things worse. However, you may have to realize that if your husband is home with them alone, he will ultimately do what he wants to do, and there may not be a whole lot you can do about it. You could get really creative with working running plays in for the more mobile QB and it opens up a whole new arena for trick plays like throwback pes or wildcat formations. You also make the mobile QB the holder on kicks so that trick plays are possible on special teams as well. If you don't want to overload them, you work a specific group of packages for each, and expand it as they become more comfortable. Or, you could just convert the mobile QB to running back and work in more liberal use of the halfback p. Either way, it's a nice problem to have.

Track spikes for cross country?

I definitely know the dilemma you are in, having gone through the same thing. The pair you have is excellent for mid/long distance track, but you will probably end up spending more money replacing them if you decide to use them for cross country, too. Nearly every course in xc will change up between concrete, dirt, mud, gr, etc. Although saving money would be great, I suggest you save up for a good cross country race shoe. The spikeless version is preferrable simply because in a long 3mi race it won't make a big difference on your time, and you won't have to worry about hard surfaces messing them up. As long as the shoe is very light (they are as light as track spikes are) you won't have any problems. There are great deals going on right now on quality race flats for less than $50. Eastbay.com is a great place to start. :)

Has anyone heard of the legalities of having to pay child support to a child that is not your own?

I just asked a similar question a few minutes ago. I got a lot of good common sense answers from you guys on it. Unfortunately, sometimes common sense is not good enough in this world. My lawyer here in Ontario Canada, told me that he couldn't protect me from my girlfriend's son, as far as having to pay child support goes. Even if the kid's real father already pays child support, I could still be nailed. Here in Canada, if you have to pay child support, it can extend until the kid is done College and University, or until the kid turns 25 ( I think). Don't get me wrong, I would love to help this boy, but he just wont listen to a thing he is told. He is 14 years old, and I know this is typical behavour of teenagers...but not to this degree. He has been diagnosed with O.D.D. All he does is sit around and play extremely violent video games all day and night. This boy could wind up destroying the relationship with my girlfriend , who is pregnant with my child. I could just tell her to forget about moving in with me and just pay her child support based on my income. I don't really want to do that , becuase I know it will limit my role as a father. I was wondering if maybe I got her to pay me room and board for her son, if that would legally rule out the courts ruling that he was dependant upon me. Just looking for ideas here. This kid is also a chip off the old block...just like his old man! I can sense the kid's resentment of me quite a bit. My wife and her Mother are not on speaking terms right now. I don't think that's going to change any time soon. Her Mom is certifiable, and never owns up to the stupid crap she says and does. Everytime I eat something, I get sick. Help!?

Well, yesterday I got up and I had to run around in town with my mom. I didn't have time to eat anything. It's really hot here and I sat in the car without the air conditioner for like 20 minutes because I didn't feel like standing in line (my mom had to renew her tags). After that, I decided I should eat something. I don't eat a lot and I'm not a big fast food person but we went to McDonald's. I got the double cheese burger meal with a regular chocolate milkshake. Well I drank all that and I ate my fries then I got full. Well, the rest of the day I was in the heat. At walmart, I started to feel really dizzy and light headed. I had to lean on something to give me support. I was shaking and I felt like I was going to vomit. I went to the bathroom and washed my face and I felt some what better. I got home and drank like three cles of ginger ale and I didn't eat anything else all day. I didn't think much of it because I thought the heat was messing with me, plus the milkshake and fries are like really unhealthy lol. General advice on looking into the loan of a new horse?

I would try her out. TBs get a bad rap sometimes because they are taken off of the track and pushed to hard and expected to know too much. TBs are generally not hot horses and have good minds. I would rather train a TB than some of the little fireball quarter horses out there anyday. They are sane, intelligent and willing. Give her a chance. If she is putting up with a complete beginner she is probably a great horse, I mean he obviously keeps riding her and he is still alive. Good Luck!

Whining noise 98 Durango?

I have a 98 Durango that I just use as a plow truck. I Dug it out of summer storage and it seems to have a whining sound when it's moving that follows the engine RPM. It's fine in park, and doesn't even seem bad in 1st or 2nd, but once it gets into the high gears it really starts whining out and if I hit the gas hard it'll really humm out. My baby won't sleep unless somone's holding her?

I'm really bad about keeping care of my skin. The answer, quite simply, is to calm down and not take things so personally. I know that's also hard to do, I'm in a similar situation myself right now, but I've resolved to think that in the end, all that matters is that you've done everything you can to help YOUR FRIENDS. Friends, questioner, friends. Learn to be selfish (within reason) as sometimes you need that to survive. Take a little "you day" every once in awhile. If someone wants to talk RIGHT NOW, learn to let them wait a couple days if you have an engagement you'd rather deal with or you're just tired or whatever. I'm not saying turn around your "nice-guy" lifestyle, but if you really don't see the rewards in that, perhaps you should. Sounds decorative! Set -up outside on cement blocks, preferably lay small pebble river rock first. You may want to lay a coat of exterior polyurethane on it to protect it from moisture. Cut a 12" x 12" round or square opening on each end and fasten screen mesh over it from the inside (tip it),. This will allow the air to circulate through and keep the inside dry. This option is the best thing you can do for outdoor display and use. Do you have a cover for the piano keys? The one that flips down? Either way make a separate cover for these keys and use mat'l like foam rubber covered with a moisture grabbing material. The piano key actions which are located inside are very intricate, made from a very durable hardwood and will resist moisture and the piano wire is stainless steel so these items should be ok. If you are concerned about these, spray all the key actions with a polyurethane. An awning over the blessed thing is a must but make sure it is large enough so the rain water drips off without splashing onto the piano. Set some D-Con inside and check the inside once in awhile. For a little xtra added touch, wrap the legs of the piano (if there are any) with a decorative tape. I have seen various tape designs at craft stores. Before foul, cold, snowy weather season tarp the piano but keep the vent openings clear for air flow. This might require removing snow. I just thought of something! Make solid covers for the vents when playing (removeable) for proper sound. That's important! You can make these 2 covers so they slide up or down to open and close. But, remember to keep them open when not is use. Now, with this all done, you can enjoy!

Bipolar disorder in children?

We have a 13 yr old grandson that his parents claim has been diagnosed as bipolar and ADHD. The reason we say claim is that his stepmom is quit the hypochondriac and we think is looking for something wrong with him because she doesn't treat him the same as her other bio children-in other words he is treated like a "stepchild". The concern we have is that we have had him with us for a week with no meds and absolutely no problems-except what a normal teen boy would act. Our question is: do all bipolar and/or ADHD need or have to be on meds all of the time? We know for sure that there is no counseling, thereapy, etc. going on and no meds were sent with him for this visit. His parents even have HIM convinced that he has these disorders. We are searching for help because as grandparents, we only want what is best for him.

I wouldn't say that one is better than the other. The first, adds a little stress to your transmission and clutch, but the second one make your car bog and use more gas to get back into it's RPM range. I went to the fertility specialist yesterday, they did a l ultrasound and saw I had a follicle on my right ovary. They wanted me too come back today to see if it developed or not but I got a stomache virus and could not go. Is it too late to do another ultrasound to check to see if it developed, I am not due to ovulate until Friday. They also said something about bloodwork to be done with the ultrasound, what is this for? I'm sorry but I am soooo confused about all of it, it was way too much info at one time! Need brain specialist advice?

My daughter feels "heaviness" around her forehead. Says it makes it difficult to focus and articulate her thinking. She also says it affects her balance and makes her not to see clearly. She suffered a hyper reaction from this condition a few months ago, which made her to hear, feel and smell things out of the ordinary (apparent psychosis). We met some psychiatrists who fed her for months on tails of antidepressants and anti-psychotic medicine. The drugs were not helping much and actually induced other bizarre behavior. The more these behaviors the more the psychiatrists increased the dosage until they nearly destroyed our daughter. Thankfully we soon realized what was happening and withdrew all medicines. Today she is almost back to normal, except for this feeling around her forehead that started the problem in the first place. We urgently need professional advice on what to do or who to consult (worldwide).

Communication with them is poor to impossible. Being around a person like this is like being around a mental and emotional vampire. They suck your energy and leave you feeling exhausted. The very best thing you can do is limit your time with them or avoid them altogether.

How long should I give my body to reset after too much cardio?

So I'm 6ft 2in, 191 lbs. Went through a huge weight loss last year (80 lbs), and now I'm all about maintenence. I recently realized I was doing way too much cardio. I was working out 6 or 7 days a week for the last 2 months. So my body fat% has gone up from 11% to almost14%. I'm taking a week off, and dialing back my regimen to 4 or 5 days a week. I usually do 20 minutes high intense cardio, and 45 minutes of weights. I'm making good progress with my weights program. My question is how long should I give my body to get out of freak out mode, and get back to burning fat?

About 3 hours before this whole thing happened, I was eating noodles, just regular ones for lunch. Then 3 hours after lunch, I felt something in my throat so I did this thing I cant really explain and the thing came out. The thing that made me think it was my brain because it had those little squigly things inside them like a brain dose but I thought that it could just be chewed pieces of noodles smooshed together. What is wrong with me?

About a week ago I started having weird pains in my stomach, but thought nothing of it. Then last Thursday, sorry if it's gross, I had diarrhea. Then I started to feel really nauseous and I puked a few times. I stayed in bed the next few days, still having lots of diarrhea. I haven't had an appetite either. I've just been eating bits and bobs like soup and fruit and yogurt and Ginger ale and Gatorade. I'm also very tired all the time. Also, there's no chance of it being pregnancy because I have my period right now and I'm not ually active with . I feel a little bit better today, but the diarrhea just won't stop. This is the fourth day of it. What is wrong with me? And I'm in 17, if that makes any difference. Thanks.
