If you use Twitter.com to spread the gospel or read daily postings, what are you finding to be most effective?

Some post daily readings, some discuss or debate with other Twitter members, some read postings there for daily devotions. Is it possible to know how effective Twitter posts are, or is it more along the lines of the "a sower went out to sow seeds" parable?
