If one calculates his future pain to outweigh pleasure, should one commit suicide?

Not 100% sure where you're headed w/ this .... but if you're contemplating suicide; let me tell you -- it's not worth it. The only thing about suicide is it's selfish. You've got to look at everyone around you it will effect. Your parents, friends, family...teachers, co-workers, any little kids you've had an impact on. There are so many people you don't even know that it will impact. Take it from me, my father committed suicide, so I know what it does to those around you. I'll tell you what I would have told him, whatever your reasons are; SUCK IT UP! Everyone's got problems, it's called life. I hate to be so forward, but it's the truth. Whatever you think is so bad, trust me it could always be worse.
