What is international english ? Is it American English or British English ?
There is no such thing as "Standard International English". There are two main varieties of English, each with its own pronunciation rules and spelling rules--American and British. Some parts of the world learn British English, some parts learn American English. Neither is better than the other and neither is "standard". The Brits complain about American spelling, but what about all those "r"s that the Brits forgot how to pronounce? Most non-native speakers of English find American English easier to understand than British English. I've found here in Ukraine that even though all the Ukrainians have learned British English, they all sound like Americans when they talk.
