IS300 airbag indicator is on,is that dangerous?

Hi,I had a CD stuck on the CD changer and I hit the side of the radio a couple of times after that the airbag indicator start blinking.Is that means that they going to pop up anytime or they just not going to work if I have an accident?I'm very concern. Thank you.
