Ok, how do i punish my husband for this?!?

I would be annoyed too. It sounds like your husband is choosing the path of least resistance, which is I am finding out myself is a male thing. :) You can try talking to him about it, and explaining to him that he is not helping, but making things worse. I would get rid of the bottles. You may have to consider only giving out punishments that you can supervise in the meantime. However, you may have to realize that if your husband is home with them alone, he will ultimately do what he wants to do, and there may not be a whole lot you can do about it. Maybe come up with a compromise? one sweet, no bottles and punishments that don't involve them being grounded for the entire week you're at work, maybe the weekend instead?
