Does anyone else find there are lots of double standards on this forum?

My bf has posted a few questions about Islam and received abusive answers and some abusive e-mails. However, when he posted a question criticising Catholicism, there were only calm rational responses and no abusive e-mails. Now just to clear things up before the abuse starts: I'm not being racist, I have no problem with muslims, or catholics, or sikhs, or most other people, I'm just interested in why as soon as you mention islam you stir up a frenzy when you can say what you like about other religions? Has political correctness gone absolutely mad? Does freedom of speech no longer exist?
