My baby won't sleep unless somone's holding her?

My daughter is 5 weeks old and she will not sleep unless she is held. When she is put down, she wakes up within minutes and starts crying until someone picks her back up. She only does this during the day though. During the night she will sleep in her crib just fine. Is she spoiled already? What can I do to change this? I've tried putting her in her bouncer, but it doesn't work. What should I do?
